The nicest stage? Not a boring moment at all, heath, bush and even sanddrift will be on the course. Runners start and finish at the sheepfold at Hoog Buurlo, the first kilometers (over the road towards Assel) involve descending with the last kilometer including a climb. After 11 tough kilometers the second half will be run at sandroads. In the beginning, on the beautiful Hoog Buurlosche Heide, it`s advisable you run cautiously over the uneven paths, afterwards, in the Ugchelsche Bosch and back to Hoog Buurlo, the paths are of outstanding quality.
After the finish it`s time to carbo load - off to the Pasta Party.

From the start there are nice walks to be made in the direction of sheepsfold, heath and the passing of the runners (approx . 3km out and back).
